Acquiring Holiday Insurance Policies on the Internet Is Beneficial and Is Better for You

The world wide web has transformed the time in which we live. Matters that were never before viable are now possible thanks to the

internet. The world is much smaller as we have the means to journey around the globe, and you can visit and gaze upon loved ones even

though they are 1000’s of miles away. You can shop, work, date and play games all from the comfort of your private home. What does

this have to do with travel insurance? Not only has the web provided all of these great activities into our households, it has also

made it faster than ever before to find great deals on holiday travel insurance.

One of many ways that the internet has made it easier than ever before to seek out great deals is that there are more companies to

choose from online. Cheap holiday insurance companies who cannot afford to or who

rather not sink cash into expensive advertising campaigns can draw in customers online with a website. These are providers that you

would never have known about if you didn’t discover them online. You can also contact companies that are not located in your area

when you hunt for deals online.

All of this has led to raised competition between travel insurance companies. And we all know what competition does. It drives prices

down. Competing parties are always trying to capture the interest of their competitions clients with a better deal. Competitive

marketing is good for consumers.

There are also many benefits of browsing online for holiday travel insurance. Instead of shopping for insurance conventionally which

meant many phone calls and enquiries with a travel or insurance agent, shopping on-line allows you to surf from the ease of your own

house. There are no opening hours to work around, and all of the data you need is at your fingertips.

Looking at everything before you allows you to easily compare travel insurance deals. If you want to enquire regarding coverage

options or other cover plans, all you need to do is point and click. This is much better then reading all of the fine print contained

in black and white paper transcripts. Many websites even have FAQs links that will answer many of your queries without you having to

actually ask them.

After you have found the ideal insurance policy, you can purchase your holiday travel insurance online. This annihilates the middle

man’s percentage and passes the savings right along to you. Many companies who sell insurance online have little overhead costs as

well. When a distributor does not have to worry about maintenance for a fancy office building and utilities, they can sell policies

much cheaper than their office based competitors. Online companies can also operate for less funds as they don’t need as large of a

staff . When the time comes to purchase holiday travel insurance, you should definitely browse for bargains online. Even if you want

to buy a insurance policy from your local agent, finding travel insurance offers on-line can provide you some leverage when it comes

time to negotiate price.

What Kind of Message Dost Thou Have Joseph Cada?

The kid is 21 years old and 8.5 million dollars richer. Yep, I’m talking about the 2009 WSOP winner Joseph Cada. Not only is Cada currently the youngest winner in WSOP history, he’s also become a national figure and possibly role model for the youth of today. That said, one has to wonder what kind of message he’s sending to the kids.

We hear negative things all the time about poker in the mainstream media, especially those with more conservative bents. But let’s look at the real message without all the propaganda surrounding it. Sure, I’ll concede that Cada won money in what some may consider a hobby at best. But I won’t concede that he didn’t work hard to achieve what he did.

I mean, this man applied himself to the game, learned it, worked hard to understand it, improved dramatically at it, and benefitted from it.

If you take those assumptions, and strip poker from them, isn’t that what we all aspire for our kids to learn. Those are principles of success, not in poker necessarily, but at life in general.

Oh, and lest we forget, Cada gained the support of his friends, of his family and community, and most of all in order to win, on has to think.

Perhaps therein lies the problem. Thinking. Because to think, means to question, and to question may lead one down a path different from the cookie-cutter norm that so many have adopted.

It seems to me that the message that the conservatives of the world are sending is one of intolerance. These rich and sheltered, silver spoon activists, they go after the very values that their parents before them advocated, followed, and subsequently became successful in the game of life because of.

And they say it’s the kids these days that need to wake up…
