More Speed and Less Heeling

As wind and boat speed increase, wave resistance becomes of increasing importance. Wave resistance is proportionally made lower by additional hull length and even greater by additional cross-sectional hull area on the water line. In sum, the larger the catamaran (48ft. plus), the more wind pressure is required for a wave-induced capsize. Larger catamarans are far superior in this respect to the conventional monohull power or sailing yacht of similar length. The concept of little or no angle of heel becomes a great advantage, particularly if you have children on board. They can play around on the boat, unconcerned if for instance you are in the middle of a tacking maneuver.

Vastly More Space Onboard

Compared to monohulls of equal length, these larger catamarans have far more space above deck. This allows your crew to be comfortably spread out in good weather; your guests aboard can find an excellent spot to recline either in the sun or under the shade of the sails. The net trampolines (esp. found on the faster designs) make excellent hammocks in good weather and while docked.

Larger catamarans feature a vast amount of interior living space which is great for privacy, with their roomy berths and galleys with separate bath and toilet facilities. Some of you might be saying to yourselves “if I purchase a boat that is 48ft. or above, it had -better- feature excellent interior volume!”, but the trick has been to design a spacious boat that will not weigh too much (since extra weight will reduce windward performance and speed under sail).

For many men, to retain semen is not the norm. Most men try to lose as much as they possibly can, but for the Chinese martial artist, semen retention is a part of the life-force, or energy that’s needed for good health, stamina, strength and longevity. Having said that, we Chinese martial artists love having sex, it’s just very important to retain the semen. When you use it, you lose it. Have you noticed that women live longer than men? That’s because they don’t orgasm as much as men, therefore, not losing their life-force.

In times gone by, the more well-to-do Chinese had many concubines. These were women that the man of the house would engage in sexual pleasure with. It was thought that he had so many women just for pleasure, and because he was rich, he could afford so many woman. It was thought, that he had so many women so he could “lay his seed” in them. Actually, he was bedding them to make them reach climax, this way he could steal their energy. How could these men sleep with so many women and not reach orgasm themselves? How were they able to keep their semen, and steal their lovers life-force? They practiced what is called semen retention exercises.

It’s a common misconception that all Chinese people know martial arts. In the old days, martial arts were only taught to the rich, military, and to the Imperial Guards. Internal, or “closed door” martial arts were only taught to the high ranking officers and the most elite of Chinese society. They were the privileged, they were the only people “good” enough to receive this type of training. Semen retention exercises were only taught to those in this “closed door” setting.

Semen retention exercises are very simple to do, and take very little time. The exercises are done in the evening when you’re going to bed. You will also practice all day whenever you have to urinate. Then there are the exercises that you have to practice while you are making love. In the beginning you will start notice that you can last longer with your lover, as you continue with the exercises, you will have control over your orgasm, and ejaculate when you want to. Early in the practice of semen retention, you will last 15 to 25 minutes, as you progress, you will find yourself lasting 45 minutes to an hour! Keep doing the exercises and when you reach climax, you will feel the orgasm, but you will not ejaculate.

Some simple exercises to begin practicing would be to stop the flow of urination. When urinating, constrict your sphincter by squeezing your butt cheeks together. This technique is called the “pelvic lock”. Do this exercise daily, also put the pelvic lock into place several times during urination. Another simple exercise to do is performed while you are making love. When you start to feel like the orgasm is coming on (don’t wait too long) put the pelvic lock on, then start rubbing the tip of your penis up and down her vaginal opening, thus stimulating her, while you get control of your orgasm.

What happens when you are lasting longer with her in bed, and bringing her to climax, making her orgasm, your penis will act like a straw, sucking the energy out of her, and depositing her strength and energy into your “life-force account”. Listen, haven’t you noticed after having sex and you ejaculate, you’re ready to go to sleep. If she didn’t orgasm, she’s ready to go watch television. You got her excited, hot, ready to go, heated up, then gave her your energy, your strength, your life-force. Keep doing this and she will live longer, be healthier, but definitely not happier.

As a mother of 2, I know how busy and full a day can be, whether you work from home or not. Between making lunches for school, cleaning up spilled apple juice, walking the dog, making sure the garbage is out on the proper morning, housecleaning, the list goes on.

As Mother’s Day approaches, children everywhere are searching for the perfect gift to give the special lady, the ‘everything’, in their lives. To the woman who deserves to be celebrated every day of the year, give the gift of relaxation. Every mom looks forward to the moment or two she has for herself when she can pick up that book or magazine she has been trying to read for weeks.

Give mom a little chunk of peace. Gather up some ingredients from your kitchen cupboards or local Organic Market, and mix up a simple recipe for Bath Melts that will be the envy of all the other moms at playgroup. Our ‘Homemade’ recipe offers an alternative to conventional bath oils or bubble bath, most of which contain perfumes and some even toxic chemicals. And, any gift that is handmade is greatly cherished!

This 100% natural Bath Melts recipe can be adjusted to be naturally fragranced with pure essential oils of your choice, or simply unscented for sensitive skins.

In a small saucepan on the stove, melt:

5 Tablespoons Cocoa butter
3 Tablespoons Shea butter
3 oz carrier oil

When just melted, remove from heat and set aside to cool further. In a separate dish, combine:

3 oz Citric Acid

8 oz Baking Soda
1 oz Milk Powder (Whole, Skim, Goat, or Soy)

Optional additions:

up to 10 drops essential oil of your choice
dried lavender or rose petals

Use a fork to get all of the lumps out, and mix powders thoroughly.
When Cocoa butter mixture is cool, but still liquefied, add Baking Soda mixture and stir. If combination begins to fizz, then the oil mixture is still too hot. It is a good idea to test a teaspoonful of Baking Soda mixture into the oil mixture before you add the full amount. Once you mix the powders into the butters, the consistency should be similar to thick cookie dough.

Once stirred, pour the mixture into ice cube trays, or small, decorative candy molds, and cool in the freezer until solid. Remove trays from freezer before cubes are actually frozen, approximately 15 minutes.
Remove cubes from trays and store your Bath Melts in a glass canister with a lid, at room temperature, and away from moisture or they may begin fizzing! You may also want to wrap each melt in decorative candy foil and a pretty ribbon to give as a gift.

When ready to use, unwrap a melt, drop into a warm bath and watch those moisturizing butters fizz away! Enjoy!

Just a warning: mom, and the bathtub, will be very slippery after a bath with a melt!

This recipe yields approximately 1 ice cube tray full.
